Last updated on Sep 14, 2025

Some internet providers have built-in security/firewall settings that may block IPTV apps or cause channels not to load. If you are using AT&T, Spectrum, or Xfinity, you may need to disable or adjust these features.

⚠️ Important: Disabling ISP security/firewall features should only be done to allow trusted applications like Stremenify supported apps to work properly.

AT&T Smart Home Manager

  1. Open the AT&T Smart Home Manager App on your mobile phone.

  2. Select Home Network Hardware.

  3. Select Wi-Fi Gateway.

  4. Scroll down and select Advanced Settings.

  5. Go to the Firewall tab.

  6. Select Security Options.

  7. Choose User Disable Security Options.

  8. Close the AT&T Smart Home Manager app.

  9. Restart your IPTV application.

👉 Alternative path:

  • In the AT&T Home Manager app, go to App Preferences.

  • Toggle off Enable Security (this disables the AT&T security firewall).

Spectrum / Xfinity Security Shield

  1. Open the Spectrum or Xfinity app.

  2. Navigate to Security Settings or Advanced Settings.

  3. Look for Security Shield or Firewall settings.

  4. Turn off the firewall, or when prompted, allow the IPTV app as a trusted application.
