Buffering & Quality Issues

Last updated on Sep 14, 2025

If you are experiencing buffering, freezing, or poor video quality while using Stremenify, here are steps you can take to improve your streaming experience:

1. Check Your Internet Speed

  • A stable internet connection is required for smooth streaming.

  • We recommend at least 20 Mbps download speed for HD/4K content.

  • Run a speed test on your device to confirm.

2. Restart Your Device & App

  • Restart your streaming device (TV, phone, tablet, or box).

  • Restart the IPTV app you are using to clear temporary glitches.

3. Try Another Internet Source

  • If possible, test with a mobile hotspot or another Wi-Fi connection.

  • This helps determine if the issue is related to your network provider.

4. Connect Using Ethernet (If Possible)

  • For TV boxes and smart TVs, using a wired Ethernet connection is more stable than Wi-Fi.

5. Lower the Stream Quality

  • Choose a another version of the channel from the channel list if available e.g SD, HD

  • Some apps allow you to adjust stream resolution.

  • Try lowering from 4K → 1080p → 720p to reduce buffering if app allows it.

6. Use a VPN

  • In some regions, ISPs may throttle or block IPTV services.

  • Connecting to a VPN can resolve buffering and streaming restrictions.

7. Check for Server Issues

  • Visit the server status page in your dashboard.

    • If the server is online → buffering may be on your network side.

    • If the server is offline → there may be a temporary outage, and our team is working on it.

8. Contact Support if Needed

  • If buffering continues, open a support ticket with details about:

    • The channel name

    • The device you’re using

    • Your internet speed
